Buddy's non stop theatrics were the life of the night
Chicago Blues legend Buddy Guy brought the house to its feet and rocked FSU's Ruby Diamond Auditorium in a show that vibrated right down to the soles of our feet. It may have been a mild autum night here in Tallahasee but inside the auditorium there was nothing tipid about the hot licks and unique stylings of this age defying senior citizen. Buddy's high-energy guitar histrionics and engaging personal interactions as he strolled his wireless guitar down the aisles and up into the balcony made us all feel a part of something special. “Buddy Guy is truly one of the finest musical showmen of our time and a real icon of the blues” says Earl Fox of Blue Sushi Radio. Opening for Buddy was with 26 year old Shamekia Copland, another powerhouse of vocal stylings. BSR's Ruby Tuesday and Earl Fox say they can only be greatful they were able to see these two amazing preformers do their thing.
